Daily Contest - Official Rules

1. Contest Overview

The PrizeHounds Daily Contest is a skill-based pick'em competition in which participants select winners of eligible sporting events scheduled for a single calendar day. Participants who meet the contest requirements and achieve a perfect score may win the advertised prize, subject to these Official Rules.

2. Contest Period

  • Each Daily Contest runs for a single calendar day.
  • Picks open when the contest is posted and lock at the scheduled start time of each selected event.
  • All eligible events must start and conclude within the designated contest day.

3. Eligibility

  • Participants must have a valid, registered PrizeHounds account.
  • One (1) entry per user per Daily Contest, unless otherwise stated.
  • Employees, contractors, or affiliates of PrizeHounds may be restricted from participation.
  • Void where prohibited by law.

4. Entry Requirements

  • Entry cost is displayed on the contest card and may require Hound Coins, Hound Cash, or an approved free entry method where applicable.
  • Participants must submit the full number of required picks (e.g., 3 picks, 5 picks, or 10 picks) for the contest to be eligible.
  • Picks may be made across any eligible sports or leagues supported by PrizeHounds.
  • All picks lock at game start time. Late or modified picks are not permitted.

Failure to submit the required number of picks before lock will result in disqualification from prize eligibility for that contest.

5. Scoring

  • Each correct pick earns 1 point.
  • Each incorrect pick earns 0 points.
  • No multipliers or bonus scoring apply unless explicitly stated in the contest description.

6. Performance Requirement

To be eligible to win a Daily Contest prize, a participant must achieve a perfect score - all required picks must be correct.

  • For a 3-pick contest: 3/3 correct required
  • For a 5-pick contest: 5/5 correct required
  • For a 10-pick contest: 10/10 correct required

If no participant achieves a perfect score:

  • The prize may be withheld, rolled over, or converted to a coin-only prize, at PrizeHounds' discretion.

7. Determining the Winner

The winner is any eligible participant who achieves a perfect score (all picks correct) during the contest period.

8. Prizes

  • Prizes may be awarded in Hound Cash or Hound Coins, as specified on the contest card.
  • 1 Hound Cash equals $1.00 USD, subject to PrizeHounds' withdrawal terms and conditions.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted.
  • Withdrawal of Hound Cash may require identity verification and compliance with platform policies.

9. Fair Play & Conduct

  • Only one account per individual is permitted.
  • Automated play, multi-accounting, or exploitative behavior is prohibited.
  • PrizeHounds reserves the right to monitor gameplay and investigate suspicious activity.

10. Disqualification & Forfeiture

PrizeHounds reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

  • Violates these Official Rules
  • Fails to meet entry or performance requirements
  • Engages in fraudulent, abusive, or manipulative behavior

Disqualified participants forfeit all eligibility for prizes in the affected contest.

11. Modifications & Cancellation

PrizeHounds reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any Daily Contest due to technical issues, insufficient participation, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be reflected on the platform prior to taking effect.

12. Disclaimer

PrizeHounds makes no guarantees regarding contest outcomes or winnings. Participation does not guarantee a prize. All decisions by PrizeHounds regarding contest administration are final.

13. Acceptance of Rules

By entering a Daily Contest, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Official Rules and the PrizeHounds Terms of Service.

Weekly Winner Contest - Official Rules

1. Contest Overview

The PrizeHounds Weekly Winner Contest is a skill-based pick'em competition where participants select winners of eligible sporting events throughout the contest period. The participant with the highest number of correct picks at the end of the contest period may win the advertised prize, subject to the rules below.

This contest is intended for entertainment purposes and is governed by these Official Rules.

2. Contest Period

  • The contest runs weekly, beginning at 12:00 AM ET on Monday and ending at 11:59 PM ET on Sunday.
  • Only picks submitted during the official contest period are eligible.

3. Eligibility

  • Participants must have a valid, registered PrizeHounds account.
  • One (1) entry per user per weekly contest.
  • Employees, contractors, or affiliates of PrizeHounds may be restricted from participation.
  • Void where prohibited by law.

4. Entry Requirements

Participants must submit a minimum of twenty (20) picks during the contest period to qualify for prizes.

  • Picks may be made across any eligible sports or leagues supported on the platform.
  • All picks lock at the scheduled start time of the selected event. Late or modified picks are not permitted.
  • Missed days or unsubmitted picks count as no pick and do not earn points.

5. Scoring

  • Each correct pick earns 1 point.
  • Incorrect picks or missed picks earn 0 points.
  • No bonus multipliers or weighting apply unless explicitly stated in the contest description.

6. Minimum Performance Threshold

To be eligible to win the Weekly Winner Contest prize:

  • A participant must meet the minimum pick requirement (Section 4), and
  • Achieve a minimum accuracy of 55% or higher on submitted picks.

If no participant meets the minimum performance threshold:

  • The prize may roll over to a future contest, or
  • Be converted into a coin-only prize, at PrizeHounds' discretion.

7. Determining the Winner

The winner is the eligible participant with the highest total number of correct picks at the end of the contest period.

Tie-Breaker Procedure:

  1. Highest total number of correct picks
  2. Highest total number of picks submitted
  3. Longest consecutive correct pick streak during the contest period
  4. If still tied, the prize will be split evenly among tied participants

8. Prizes

  • Prizes are awarded in Hound Cash, unless otherwise stated.
  • 1 Hound Cash equals $1.00 USD, subject to PrizeHounds' withdrawal terms and conditions.
  • Prize amounts are non-transferable and may not be substituted.
  • Withdrawal of Hound Cash may require identity verification and compliance with platform policies.

9. Fair Play & Conduct

  • Only one account per individual is permitted.
  • Any attempt to manipulate outcomes, exploit the system, or use multiple accounts will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes.
  • PrizeHounds reserves the right to review picks and user activity for integrity purposes.

10. Disqualification & Forfeiture

PrizeHounds reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

  • Violates these Official Rules
  • Engages in fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Attempts to circumvent platform safeguards

Disqualified participants forfeit all eligibility for prizes in the affected contest.

11. Modifications & Cancellation

PrizeHounds reserves the right to:

  • Modify contest rules, structure, or prizes at any time
  • Cancel or suspend a contest due to technical issues, insufficient participation, or unforeseen circumstances
